Our first Triune Record starts on Ricar-III, where two of our main characters Colt and Zagi are currently stuck in a fierce battle in the depths of the Veneer, even while they are powerless. Just as they are about to be overwhelmed, Valmet jumps in and whisks them away from the scene using her Codex, saving them. She tells them there is no time to explain since the Veneer is growing stronger and that they have to depart immediately for Circa, a city on Avalune-I, via Rifthopping on a ship from The Inevitable.
